What is a Power Quality Meter?

A power quality meter is an instrument that monitors electrical systems by measuring parameters like voltage, current, frequency, and harmonics. It can identify abnormal electrical deviations from normal conditions to diagnose power system issues that could affect equipment performance, system reliability, and energy efficiency.

The Acuvim 3 Series meter comes equipped with an optional touchscreen display for intuitive advanced power quality analysis to monitor power system for PQ events from interruptions, unbalance, flicker, and transient. It can capture waveform and record these events through a data logger for alarms and analysis.

What is IEC 61000-4-30 Class A?

The Acuvim 3 Series meter is IEC 61000-4-30 Class A compliant, a global standard established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) to specify the requirements for power quality measurement methods and is certified by NMi. Acuvim 3 exceeds the standard with IEC 61557-12 Class 0.1 accuracy for voltage and current RMS measurements and 40 to 70 Hz at 1mHz accuracy IEC 61557-12 Class 0.02. POWER QUALITY ANALYSIS

Acuvim 3 is specialized to monitor and analyze the characteristics of electrical power signals for quality. IEC 61000-40-30 Class A compliant, it analyzes for abnormal harmonic, frequency, current, voltage and transient fluctuations. Waveform capture are sampled up to 512 samples/cycle and saved as a COMTRADE file or can be posted to a remote server via HTTP/FTP.
